It seemed as if 13 Reasons Why was poised to address this topic when Diego was arrested and Justin was not, but the show barely acknowledges the deputy or his racism in the final two episodes of the season. It was really cool. In the fourth season, Diego is introduced as one of the football players of Liberty High. That’s where they kind of team-up. When it comes to high school, these kids are blinded by all this emotion as opposed to thinking logically. Clay, a white teen, is not punished for his actions, nor is he harmed in any way.
