My girlfriend and I love this place. I love Ethiopian food and luckily found this place. "My favorite restaurant in Lausanne, full of flavor and an adorable owner!" Le Nil Bleu was just two blocks away from Sherbrooke Station, and we wanted to branch out to try different foods (we always go for Asian food as a go to lol ((we were almost persuaded by a Thai place))) this place persuaded us because it was so close and it was so cold.
With tons of choices to choose from, such as a chicken, beef, lamb, veggies, lentils, etc, you're bound to find something you will love. Yes it does - a lot of morrocod would be dairy free - tagines of vegetables for example. PLUS there is a new Ethiopian Restaurant on avenue Parc so might as well change habit! I was first introduced to Ethiopian food by my sister. I was thrilled about the lack of utensils. We are done. The main restaurant floor is very cozy and romantic with seemed lights, great for a date night.Food is great, portions can be less somedays but delicious. He could use some serious retraining. (Zebra print chairs and wallpaper, painting of "tribal" women, a staircase waterfall?????). I absolutely love this place. We really enjoy coming here.
First platter was filled up with vegetarian appetizer such salads, hummus, etc. On our first night in Montreal, we decided to get Ethiopian food for dinner on a suggestion of a friend. Topped off with coffee and a sweet honey wine. Blue Nile is the world's leading diamond jeweler online for engagement and wedding rings. The most fun part of our meal was to eat with our hands!Please come here, you won't regret it! Perfect dish! The main course was enough to feed 3 or 4 so we happily took home leftovers. That last time I ordered take out, the experience was smooth, respectful, timely and the food was excellent.
