It has good uni flavor without being overly heavy. It is reliable, however the buses only come every hour, sometimes every hour and a half, and the stop around 5, so, plan your routes ahead of time. Simply wow! She picked our calls late at nights and even took us to the beach nearby to enjoy. It's worth the wait (but can be a long wait if you don't have a reservation). You have to come for the omakase, and if you're able to, sit at the bar! It didn't bother us too much since everything was amazing, but it would have been nice to know so that we can get more of it in the future. Ohshima!I've frequented this spot but looks like I never wrote a review.There hasn't been much said that previous yelpers have not mentioned but I'll give my two cents.This place is delicious! Located in Oshima, a 3-minute walk from Motomachi Port, Book Tea Bed -IZUOSHIMA- provides air-conditioned rooms and a bar. Haiz, how could I just stop???!! 17.7 mi from Oshima. Although there are seats available upon opening, they will space out taking people in to give enough time for the sushi chefs to prepare and make the dishes. :D They are operating at 25% capacity so only a few parties will be served at a time... no take out or reservations so it's walk in only. Our sushi is a unique Kanto or Tokyo-style. Good location by the water with a nice view.
You have a whole fully equipped house to yourselves. All the waitresses are very alert and observant and come to check on you frequently and to make sure your drinks are never empty. The only drawback was that they serve all 10 pieces at the same time so it doesn't stay as cold and everyone in our party of 4 had different size pieces so my picky hubs kept complaining that the sushi chef may not have the best knife skills Dessert was also delicious!
Should reserve before coming if you don't want to wait in line since this place is legit. No need to dip with any except you want some small wasabi on it. A mix of the charming, modern, and tried and true. Her house is so clean with all the amenities you could ever think of.

I would highly recommend Ohshima to anyone who asks, especially the cherry salmon and black cod. Located in Oshima, just 8 miles from Oshima Park Zoo, 島の宿 近 〜KON〜 has accommodations with free bikes, a garden and free WiFi. What should you order? Beautiful quiet island. Since it was my bf's first omakase, I really wanted him to get the full experience. Great service and their range of fresh fish they have daily is amazing for a small joint in Orange. Unagi (eel)6. In fact I was pleasantly surprised by the chef who was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. It was sooo beautiful! See all.
There were always open table seatings but the counter was always full. 10 pieces of sushi for $45 is such a steal and I really enjoyed 8 out of 10 of them.
Ohshima Japanese Cuisine is a Yelp advertiser. Featuring garden views, Den House has accommodations with a terrace and an electric tea pot, around 3.5 miles from Okada Port. After the 8pcs, you can choose to stop or keep going.
Thats why I gave them 5 stars because this restaurant is Outstanding. more, Create a Trip to save and organize all of your travel ideas, and see them on a map. When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more. Very new and clean accomandation with a nice kitchen and a very coozy common space located near the port of habu town. We went 45 mins before they opened and there was already a long line!! Sign suggests they will open again. As of 9/9/20, Ohshima is open for DINE-IN!
I was fortunate enough to secure a reservation for Saturday dinner by calling in the night before. So so good. It's a really small restaurant considering how popular it gets, and it's definitely somewhere you'd have to go in smaller groups if anything. Learn more. All I need to say it, once you comes to this restaurant you have no regrets at all. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen.
