Went with a group, we all ordered a variety of different foods with good reviews. The cossa cossa is a river crab grilled in garlic sauce and the river fish captain that also came grilled with fried plantain bananas - they were just delicious!Service is good, waiters are friendly and speak some English, too! They have a mock swimming pool outside with table around, and they have an over-airconditioned very nice inside part.
Don’t expect much else. Though I have to admit - as most places in Kinshasa - the restaurant is overpriced. Craving pizza we ordered the Calzone and large pepperoni pizza. Definitely recommend! They are both nicely screened from views of the outside, so you feel like you're not in Kinshasa.

We were not disappointed one bit. The other is on the Bllvd 30 Juin just before Kintambo Magasin (The road changes it's name but it's the same road) entrance in the side street. the pizza are the best i lived in many countries but the o poeta pizza are among my top 5 pizza place in the world. Waiters were attentive however english was not fluent, For years, o'poeta has been the go-to place for pizza, the best in town.
I dined here several times. Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The place was offered by a colleague as we wanted a restaurant where you could sit outside, this place had it all! We also were able to listen to the musicians for a little before we left. Additionally at our first table the waiter said there were no large bottles of water and when we moved and got a new waiter suddenly they appeared. Bring bug spray if you go to the one with the pool.
